At Elegoo Africa, we are committed to delivering your 3D printers, resins, and filaments across South Africa with speed, transparency, and care. Below you will find the details of our shipping procedures, costs, and timelines.
We offer nationwide shipping to all nine provinces in South Africa. Whether you are in a major metropolitan hub like Johannesburg, Cape Town, or Durban, or in a more remote regional area, we will get your gear to your door.
What are our processing & delivery times?
We aim to get your order into your hands as quickly as possible.
- Order Processing: 1–2 business days (Monday – Friday).
- Major Centres (JHB, PTA, CPT, DBN, PLZ): 2–4 business days.
- Regional & Outlying Areas: 5–7 business days.
Note: Deliveries are made during standard business hours. While we strive for these timelines, factors like load-shedding at courier hubs or extreme weather may occasionally cause minor delays.
How much are shipping fees?
Our shipping fees are calculated based on the weight of your order and your delivery location. The exact total will be displayed at checkout.
- Standard Shipping: Starts from R99.00 (depending on weight).
- Free Shipping: Enjoy FREE delivery on all orders over R3,000.00, provided the total weight is under 15kg.
- Oversized Items: Industrial-sized printers (e.g., OrangeStorm Giga) may incur a flat-rate heavy-goods surcharge due to specialized handling requirements.
Does Elegoo ship internationally?
Currently, we only ship within the borders of South Africa.
What happens if I’m not home?
The courier will attempt delivery twice. If unsuccessful, the parcel may be returned to us, and a re-delivery fee may apply.

FDM 3D Printers vs Resin 3D Printers (MSLA)
Which 3D Printer is right for me? Choosing a printer depends entirely on what you want to create:
- FDM (e.g., Neptune Series, Centauri Carbon): Best for large, functional parts, prototypes, brackets, mechanical components, and general hobby printing. It uses spools of plastic filament (like PLA, PETG, or ABS).
- Resin (e.g., Saturn or Jupiter Series): Best for high-detail miniatures, jewelry masters, dental models, and artistic sculptures. It uses liquid UV resin and captures exceptionally fine surface detail.
